Smaïl
Behlouli and family
Smaïl,
his wife Messaouda and their three daughters Yasmine, Kaina
and Kenza left Algeria in 1992. They are active in the Action
Committee of Non-Status Algerians, CASS in French, and are
granted papers in 2002 under a joint procedure set up in October
2002 by the governments of Quebec and Canada. Smaïl and
his family obtained permanent residents' status in February
2003. He and his family have continued to assist non-status
Algerians and other refugees. |
